Tim Grunditz grew up a pastor's son but wandered from the Lord after tragedy struck his life. When he returned, it was like the prodigal son’s homecoming. Deep in Tim's heart, God began to stir a passion for bringing the gospel to all nations. After 16 years of running his contracting company, the Lord converged Tim’s passion for the gospel with his experience in business and birthed his role as the executive director of HCC in May, 2014. He is joined in serving the Lord by his wife Kathy and young daughters Lucy, Jill, Ruby, and Josie.

God greatly impacted Jon through his time studying abroad in Xiamen in 2009. After graduating from college, he taught English and served alongside Chinese brothers and sisters in China from 2011–2017. He has returned to Minnesota to get a degree in theology so that he can better love God and serve others. When he isn’t studying or working, he enjoys tickle fights with his son and good food with his wife.

Kim sensed a call on her life to full-time Christian ministry during her college years and has loved the assignments the Lord has given her. She had the privilege of serving as a missionary for 20 years in Ecuador, South America. Kim also served as a mission and outreach director; during that time she had the privilege of traveling to Africa, Asia and Latin America. Through this exposure, a love for the peoples and cultures of the world developed in her heart. Kim lives in Maple Grove with her pastor husband, and they have four adult children and many grandchildren.

Grace has always been drawn to helping others, both across the world and right here in the Twin Cities. As a missionary kid, Grace lived in Rwanda for four years before coming to Minnesota for college. She had never been to Minnesota and didn’t have any friends or family in the area. Grace graduated from the University of Northwestern with a writing degree and seeks to use the gifts and abilities God has given her to serve Him and those around her. In her free time, Grace likes to knit, go on long walks with her husband, and cuddle with their overweight cat.

In September 2012 Holmes attended Indiana University, Bloomington, to participate in a PhD program. While there, he was led to a Lutheran church where he heard a law and gospel sermon for the first time in his life. He started to realize how sinful we humans are and how sweet the gospel is. He received a call and began his seminary study on September 2016. He is now doing his internship at HCC and his desire is to build lifelong friendships with the international students while sharing the love of Jesus with them. He loves Chinese food, enjoys fishing a lot, and is a big fan of NBA.
