resources at HCC
The Hospitality Center for Chinese serves as a connection between Americans and Chinese students, scholars and their families. We collect and give away gently used furniture, provide transportation, offer housing/host families, provide a connection with local churches, and much more.
Moving
If you are moving and need help transporting your belongings and furniture, please fill out the furniture assistance form and email to info@hcchinese.org. We request at minimum 5 business days advance notice in order to process the request. HCC cannot guarantee that we can meet your request, be we’re happy to try. A $15 donation to HCC is requested for transportation services. Our furniture giveaway is over for the summer, so we cannot supply furniture at this time.
If you need transportation for other reasons, please email the specifics and your contact info to info@hcchinese.org. (No form required.)
HCC does not have furniture during the school year, but if you need something specific, we are happy to provide transportation to a store for you to purchase it. We go shopping every Saturday morning at 10:00am. Email by Thursday each week to submit your request: info@hcchinese.org
