Volunteers are essential to the operation of the Hospitality Center for Chinese. We need people with a variety talents, who are willing to share hospitality and support the Christian message of HCC. The level of commitment is up to you. We offer meaningful, flexible, and unique volunteer opportunities

We will contact you to set-up an initial phone or in-person interview.
Start volunteering, based on your gifts and availability.

Job - Office Coordinator

HCC is looking for an office coordinator to work on-site in China Place reception area, completing a wide variety of duties assigned by the Executive Director to support our mission, specifically reception, building stewardship, communications and ministry administration, and bookkeeping support. We have filled the position for November through April and we expect it to re-open next spring. Applications for the spring opening are being accepted now.

Friendship Partners Needed

Wanted! American Christians who would like to be friendship/language partners with a Chinese student. The time commitment is meeting 2x each month. We have several students interested in meeting with an American friend, please consider this important volunteer opportunity. Possible volunteer opportunities include:

Teach a class or a hobby
Drive students to local places of interest on outings we organize
Be a host family for a week in July, August, or January
Be a friendship partner (both Chinese and Americans needed)
Serve at a Friendship Meal (3rd Saturday of every month during the school year)
Volunteer at “China Place” as an office helper, or by doing building maintenance
Donate your muscles to help us move furniture for new students (summer).

Be on our prayer team. Weekly prayer time is Tuesdays at 1:00 pm at HCC or request to be on our monthly email prayer bulletin.
