Join us to experience Minnesota life. Events include: lake outings, sports, shopping, and opportunities to explore Christianity.

  • Friendship Meal with guest speaker, Dr. Don BierleMarch 20 at 6:00pm.

    Dr. Bierle is a former skeptic of Christianity and the theory of “Intelligent Design.” He will present his research and is open to questions. Dr. Bierle holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in the life sciences. An academic dean and college professor for over 25 years, he is skilled at communicating complex subjects in a clear, original and fascinating way.   • “Chinese Retreat” at Camp VictoryZumbro Falls March 19-21

  • Grocery shoppingEvery Saturday 10:00am

    Each Saturday we have transportation to local grocery stores such as Shanghai Market, Cub Foods, or Rainbow. You must REGISTER by Thursday evening by emailing info@hcchinese.org. Meet at HCC at 10 am and an HCC volunteer will bring you home after shopping by 12:00 pm.

Friendship Meals

Friendship Meals are a special monthly event at HCC. Chinese and American friends come together for a dinner and program. The dinners are provided by local churches and are free to all. The programs vary- sometimes we have a special speaker or an interactive group game. We also celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas together with traditional food and music.

Friendship Meals are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month (September - May). Dinner begins at 6:00 pm. After dinner we provide free childcare. The dinners are held at HCC. Rides are available, just ask and we'll come pick you up!
